Prof. Brady Williamson of the University of California at Berkeley passed away on August 1. Prof. Williamson was Prof. Mowrer's mentor when he was at Berkeley. Fred Mowrer says: "Brady was a wonderful person who was always brimming with enthusiasm and new ideas. Those who are relatively new to fire science and engineering probably do not appreciate the legacy that Prof. Williamson leaves behind."
