Begley Honored as One of 40 Under 40

Congratulations to Fire Protection Engineering alumnus James P. Begley (B.S. ’96), who has been recognized by Consulting-Specifying Engineer as one of the 2012 "40 Under 40 Program Winners."   This award is given to 40 building industry professionals age 40 and younger who stand out in all aspects of their lives.

Begley founded TERPconsulting in 2010 after almost 20 years in fire protection engineering and losing his job amidst the economic downturn.  He is dedicated to his profession and his community.  Begley’s interests range well beyond fire protection and are as varied as writing a monthly food column and volunteering in support of animal welfare.
