You are invited to The Division of Research’s NIH Grant Writing Workshop for new and junior faculty on June 7, 2012. This all-day Grant Writing Workshop is designed to help investigators understand NIH, how to target their research, as well as how to plan, organize, and write a competitive grant application.
The focus of the workshop is to discuss the components of a peer-reviewed NIH grant application, including the Specific Aims, Abstract, and Research Strategy. Other relevant subjects that are covered include: Developing a Budget, Identifying Sources of Funding, and Understanding the NIH Peer-Review System. A comprehensive set of NIH reference materials will be provided to each participant who completes the workshop.
Breaks and a light lunch will be provided.
